There’s the field where farmers use our machines. And then there’s the field of agricultural equipment makers like AGCO...And figuratively speaking, we’re doing everything we can to un-level it.
“For the farmers. For the people working for them. For ourselves. For the future.”
Our business and the communities where we operate are mutually dependent. Corporate citizenship has long been embedded into AGCO’s values and guides interactions with our employees, customers, suppliers, dealers and non-profit partners. We value our record of positive, productive community relations and consider it an investment for our stakeholders. All of our philanthropic efforts work towards social responsibility as well as our organization’s positive economic value and environmental impact.
AGCO strives to be a thoughtful corporate citizen by making positive contributions to improve the lives of our neighbors. This commitment has resulted in a community focus as one of the core efforts with AGCO’s TRAIT diversity and inclusion program embedded into our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). With our new AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF), we are furthermore positively impacting and changing the lives of people beyond the communities where we operate.
In 2018, we proudly launched the AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF). AAF is a testament to AGCO’s commitment in supporting our farmers feeding the world. It’s in AGCO’s corporate nature to focus all efforts with our equipment and services provided towards food security. Through this new philanthropic arm, we show our strong commitment to specific Sustainable Development Goals developed by the United Nations through a holistic approach toward preventing and relieving global hunger while providing basic necessities to a growing world population. As a private philanthropic organization, AAF will support non-profit initiatives that contribute to Zero Hunger. As the demand for nutrition—and especially protein—changes, so do our philanthropic and technical solutions.

Five Focus Areas:
The AGCO Batavia (Illinois) chapter of the AGCO Global Women’s Network (AGWN) is a prime example of how we are making a positive social impact in our local communities. In 2018 alone, the Batavia AGWN members initiated a campaign to fundraise and award $6,500 in scholarships to students pursuing an agricultural field of study, awarded $9,000 for local farm-accident victims and donated more than $2,100 to combat hunger and support local dairy farmers. The group has partnered for several years with groups including the Kane County Farm Bureau and the Northern Illinois Food Bank to raise money and awareness, and to offer volunteer services in support of eliminating hunger and improving access to agricultural education.
AGCO's dealer network is a local touchpoint for our business in communities around the world. Developing joint programs with dealers strengthens their community ties and puts us closer to the needs of our customers.
Helping future generations and investing in the future of agriculture have been a focus of the partnership between AGCO companies and the National FFA Organization for 74 years. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
