There’s the field where farmers use our machines. And then there’s the field of agricultural equipment makers like AGCO...And figuratively speaking, we’re doing everything we can to un-level it.
“For the farmers. For the people working for them. For ourselves. For the future.”
As an agricultural company with the vision to feed the world, sustainability is at the heart of AGCO’s business. Sustainability is an area of opportunity where good intentions and profitability can meet to positively impact our shared environment. We have high sustainability expectations for our suppliers at AGCO, and we look forward to working with our supply chain on our shared mission to support professional farmers as they feed the world.
AGCO’s responsibilities lie not only in protecting and managing our own labor pool, but also in holding our suppliers (and our suppliers’ suppliers) to the same high standard in terms of ensuring a safe, legal, and healthy labor force. All suppliers are expected to agree and abide by our Supplier Code of Conduct. We train our employees on these important expectations and audit targeted suppliers to verify adherence to these shared principles.

To further assist suppliers, we have prepared the Slavery and Human Trafficking Factsheet.
AGCO is working diligently with our supply base to reduce our shared impact to the environment, through increasing efficiency during the production, transport, and packaging of our diverse range of products. Tackling an increased sustainability initiative today can decrease the impact of our supply chain on future generations.
Our supply chain consists of some of the best suppliers in the world, and we know that we can learn from them to become a more sustainable company. It is imperative for AGCO to collaborate with our suppliers to ensure continued innovation and development of sustainable responses to growing market needs. Selecting, managing, and developing the right suppliers helps AGCO continue to find sustainability and efficiency improvements that both our customers and we demand.

Traceability and transparency in the supply chain are key to our success, and nowhere has this become more apparent than with the use of tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold (conflict minerals) in our products. AGCO expects our suppliers to source products from ethical sources, no matter the supply chain complexity, because we aspire to collaborate with suppliers operating under our same moral standard.
Please see our Conflict Minerals Policy.
At AGCO, we recognize that increased diversity in our supply chain leads to increased innovation and thought leadership. We are committed to partnering with diverse suppliers—whether the diversity stems from gender, ethnicity, size, geography, or something else entirely—to strengthen the communities in which we work and drive value through to the farmer.
