Fully battery-electric: Fendt e100 Vario
Fendt introduced the second electrified tractor series - Fendt e100 Vario – in September 2024 in Norway. The light, compact 55 kW machine works with existing implements and features the FendtONE system architecture. The Fendt e107 Vario was developed for farms focused on horticulture and animal husbandry as well as municipalities, while the existing Fendt e100 V Vario was aimed at vineyards and specialist use. The machine has a battery capacity of 100 kWh. This corresponds to an operating time of about 4 - 7 hours for partial load applications such as mechanical weeding or planting. Numerous farms and municipalities already generate their own energy through photovoltaics, wind power or biogas. Charged with this green electricity the Fendt e100 Vario can operate in a carbon neutral way – a closed energy cycle from generation to use. Awards like the “Sustainable Tractor of the Year 2025”, a gold medal in Norway or the Austrian award “Climate fit for the future” reward the consistently sustainable concept.
Fendt Former 920 C PRO
The new Fendt Former centre rake range was developed for high quality grassland applications in regions like Europe, Australia or New Zealand. The series with 6 models feature proven features like the patented SteerGuard and the swing arm on the rotor suspension. Completely redeveloped they now offer innovative technology like numerous ISOBUS features for the first time in this segment. These include proConnect options like Fendt flexHigh and maMemory as well as Section Control. The Fendt Former centre rakes with a maximum working width of 6.9/10 meters were developed to combine high working speed with clean forage quality a wide range of options and a large number of ISOBUS features. The range includes standard models for those not needing ISOBUS functionality through to smart models for customers with high ISOBUS performance requirements.
MF 5M
The MF 5M Series - which includes six tractors from 95hp up to the new, top 145hp model - is equipped with a level of comfort expected by today’s operators, plus a compact and efficient four-cylinder engine and the well-proven Dyna-4 transmission. The new electronic architecture offers ISOBUS connectivity, MF Guide and a wide range of other Smart Farming options, while still retaining the straightforward, robust design. These modern factory-fitted additions, typically found on larger, more complex tractors, further enhance the versatility, reduce the operator workload and increase field performance and efficiency.
MF 9S
The MF 9S Series, launched in Europe in 2023 and in the United States in 2024, has already received five awards. Offering best-in-class visibility, the series includes six models with power outputs from 285hp to 425hp. Featuring the innovative Protect-U design, the MF 9S Series brings more comfort, control and automation to the high horsepower sector. Offering high performance for both field work and transport applications, all models are equipped with Dyna-VT transmission and come with the latest Smart Farming functions to boost productivity. New features include MF AutoTurn, AutoHeadland and CTIS, enhancing the automation and efficiency of these powerful machines.
MF Hay Tools - Mowers & Rakes
Massey Ferguson developed the new MF DM 9614 and MF DM 10114 butterfly mowers for large farms, professional users and contractors to satisfy the most demanding requirements. All models feature the Massey Ferguson high-performance spur-gear drive and fourteen large discs. They guarantee a clean cut and even crop flow. The new ‘Pro’ models also offer ISOBUS control for automated functions and exceptional operator comfort. As an option, front and rear mowers are fully connected either through hydraulic hoses or ISOBUS TIM. A new control system allows tine conditioner adjustment in real time to suit the crop volume and density, resulting in more even drying of the mown forage. The driver has only to press a button on the multifunction lever to change the setting. In addition, MF has added six new two-rotor, centre-rakes with working widths of 7.60 m to 10 m to the popular MF RK series. These new rakes also offer very convenient ISOBUS control and, for example, automatic speed-dependent working height control, SectionControl, MyMemory and maintenance-free rotor heads.
OutRun - PTx Trimble
OutRun™ enables a tractor pulling a grain cart to operate without a driver during harvest. It comes as a self-contained kit, supports existing decade old tractor models, and allows farm operations to maintain or increase productivity when labor is hard to find. Using an intuitive interface, a combine operator can stage or position a grain cart around the field. When summoned to unload a combine, the grain cart autonomously comes to, matches speed and distance to the combine, allowing for unloading on the go. The combine operator can send the grain cart to a predefined truck unload zone, where the unload is performed. OutRun™ navigates around the field avoiding unharvested land, reusing previously traveled paths to reduce compaction. OutRun™ uses its own communication infrastructure to reliably operate regardless of available cellular coverage at the field, ensuring high uptime during the critical harvest period.
SymphonyVision – Precision Planting:
SymphonyVision uses cameras to intelligently adjust the application based on weed severity, allowing you to save on chemicals and control weeds more effectively. SymphonyVision utilizes two packages to provide farmers with a choice of intelligent spraying systems that fit their farm: SymphonyVision | Rate adjusts the herbicide rate applied by each nozzle based on the severity of the weeds seen by the camera, while always being on. SymphonyVision | Spot adds the ability of the system to turn off nozzles when weeds are not detected, thereby providing the opportunity to save chemicals and chemical costs. Both packages provide the operator with maps, images of weeds in the field, and records through Panorama wherever the operator takes there mobile device.
ReconBlockage for strip till – Precision Planting
A blocked run on your strip-till bar can cost time and money. Using acoustic sensors to detect flow variance by section, ReconBlockage instantly alerts you of blocked runs, preventing skips and associated yield loss. Acoustic sensors work like a stethoscope, preventing issues with build up that can plague optical sensors; the acoustic sensors signal is processed and sent to an iPad app, alerting the operator to issues with fertilizer flow. The sound that the sensor hears travels down an auditory tube to an ECU, where the sound is interpreted. From there, the gateway wirelessly connects to an iPad in the cab. No longer are you flying blind when applying fertilizer.
S Series
The first 6th generation tractor - Valtra S Series - stood out as the year 2024 highlight. While the tractor was launched at Agritechnica in 2023, 2024 became the year of the the BOSS. Designed and manufactured in Suolahti, Finland, the S Series impressed with its powerful 425-horsepower engine, SmartTouch interface, and cutting-edge smart farming features, including auto-guidance with Valtra Guide, automatic headland turning with SmartTurn, and enhanced fuel efficiency thanks to the 8.4-liter AGCO Power engine. The robust yet narrow design of the tractor improves front visibility and maneuverability, while the spacious and ergonomic cab ensures maximum comfort for operators during long hours.
F Series
The improved specialist F Series tractor is a compact tractor ideally suited to specialist crops. The specially shaped chassis and front axle enable a 55-degree wheel angle for a tight 3.6 m turning radius which is perfect for working in tight spaces such as vineyards. The F Series is an efficient tractor. Offering up to 10% more torque and 5% better fuel efficiency, thanks to its efficient four-cylinder 2.8-litre common rail FPT Stage V compliant engine. The F Series Standard Low model is the most compact tractor in its class. Available as an open cab with Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS), the Standard Low model can offer 20” rear wheels, lower mudguards and an operating station designed for even tighter and lower crops and workplaces.
Q Series
The 5th generation Q Series continues to be a popular choice for farmers and contractors in 2024. In an independent study of high horsepower tractors by a leading publication in Germany, the Q Series was found to be a standout performer, achieving the best fuel economy measured of all six tractors tested and was found to have one of the best turning circles of just 12.58 m. In another independent study by a group of leading agricultural publications concluded that the Q Series they tested had the best and easiest autoguidance system of all six tractors they tested. The continued popularity of the Q Series led to a record market share in the 240-339 HP range in Europe of 8.3% in 2024.
